Check out the latest Trailer for EurasiaMUN 2013:
Hello everyone,
My name is Rawaid Asif and I will be serving as the Secretary-General of the Eurasia’13 conference. With utmost honour and pleasure, I welcome you all to this annual session of the Eurasia Conference.
I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Accounting and Finance and will be graduating this June. MUNing has been a very big part of my 4 years at Lahore University of Management Sciences. From being a delegate to chairing, from being a team member to a Host Team Director, I am very proud to say that I have done it all. After being a part of MUN for the past few years it is a bittersweet experience to be participating in my last MUN ever, but I could not be more excited to share this experience with all of you!
My Secretariat and I will be trying our level best to make this year’s Eurasia conference the best one yet. With five exciting committees and surprises along the way, the conference will keep you engaged the entire time. Infact, the entire concept of Eurasia is very unique. We not only aim to bring together two groups of students from two universities once every year, but we also intend for this conference to lay down the foundations for fostering closer ties between two countries and more importantly, two continents. With that in mind, all the committees will be discussing topics that are very relevant to this aim and hopefully, where the real politicians have failed, you will succeed.
We are absolutely confident that you will come to the conference as delegates and leave it as integral members of the Eurasia family.
I hope to welcome you all this summer.
Regards,
Rawaid Asif

A huge welcome to all of you,
My name is Maite Angleys and I will be serving as Director General at this year EurasiaMUN conference – a once in a life time opportunity!
I am currently about to finish my degree in international cultural and business studies and have been an active member of the MUN Society Passau since 2010. For the last year I’ve been engaged with the preparation of the conference we will hold in June in beautiful Passau and I know how much effort the two teams in Pakistan and in Germany have put into this to make this conference a truly great one!
Organising EurasiaMUN has personal importance for me as my first MUN conference ever was EurasiaMUN in 2010 and that was the moment I fell in love with the concept of Model United Nations. Over the years I had the chance to participate in WorldMUN 2011 in Singapore as well as several other conferences and every single time I find the spirit of MUN something truly amazing. Discussing issues of global magnitude, meeting people from various backgrounds and countries and finding friends beyond borders and conventions is what might lead our generation into a peaceful future.
Therefore it is a distinct aim and pleasure of mine to ensure along with my team that EurasiaMUN 2013 will be the highlight of your MUN experience!
I can’t wait to welcome all of you in Passau and together we will have the time of our life.
Regards,
Maite Angleys
